One Light Workshop Last night
Yesterday I hosted the One LIght Workshop
with the fabulous Zack Arias. It was the best workshop I have ever attended. Zack's teaching skills are perfection, and his sense of humor more so. It was a blast, and I learned sooooo much. We were all having major 'aha' moments. If you are a fellow photographer I urge you to attend a Onelight Workshop no matter what your skill level. I wish I had had an opportunity to take this workshop when I first started out fourteen years ago. I would have saved myself a huge amount of money and wasted time trying to figure out the vast world that is 'off camera lighting'.
Here is a shot Zach took. That's singer Kera O'Bryon (thanks so much Kera, you were a great sport)in a vintage bathing suit in my front yard with my beloved pup Josephine Lucille. Zach used more than one light for this shot. I will be posting the stuff I shot later this weekend, when I have time to go through it. Fantastic day.

Edited to add: Thanks to all the wonderful folks who attended the workshop. We had people fly in from as far as Houston to participate. Everyone was so gracious and helpful to me and I really, really appreciate. I am sure I made some good friends yesterday. Thanks!!!!

What a fabulous day. Thank you, Eleise, for the rock-star hospitality, and thank you Zack and everyone else for such a great learning experience. The high-point was catching the Dasani water bottle on the front lawn at 1 am, while trying to set up a backlit boquet toss scenario. Heh, heh. What fun. So glad to be a part of OneLight Norfolk, and hope to keep up with all of you and your fabulously creative work!!!

Thank you Eleise for working hard to bring such a talent here. His ability to breakdown difficult information was unreal. I had such a good time seeing you and Angela. These guys better watch out, Hampton Roads has been bringing some killer seminars through here. Great job, and I look forward to seeing the images you got.
