Stewart and Darryl's Wonderful Wedding

Hello!  I bet you had  forgotten that I shoot a lot of weddings.  It's been kind of dry over here in blogland, as I work on my new site and design wedding albums.........lots of wedding albums.

So,  I'm jump starting the blog with Stewart and Darryl's wonderful day.  This wedding was recently featured in the gorgeous Weddings Unveiled magazine, and for good reason.  It was fantastically lovely.  Intimate, deeply personal, glowing with Stewart's deft aesthetic touch.

Dee Kirchmier of the wonderful Occasions Events coordinated this party.

The favors:  Virginia Juniper trees.

The entrance to Stewart's family's farm:  The trees are Virginia Junipers.

The intricate neckpiece  Stewart wore:

Stewart owns The Yarn Lounge and made Darryl this lovely sweater.  There are x's and o's in the pattern.

I don't need to tell you that Janie Medley did the flowers.  One glance and you just know.

In this next series  there was crazy beautiful light pouring in from the window to my left.

I would really like to set up a permanent studio in the upstairs hall of Stewart's farmhouse!

The officiant at the wedding was Stewart's dear friend, wonderful photographer Charles 'Stretch' Ledford.

An engagement shot:

During the cocktail hour there was a rustic backdrop set up, with a polaroid camera and film.

More Janie gorgeousness.

Of course there was some knitting going on :  )

The gorgeous Mel Worthington and Stewart.

There will be way more from this wedding on my  new site.  I really loved this wedding.

You really captured the day so perfectly! So much I forgot about until I saw the pictures.

I cannot thank you enough.

I love this wedding, Eleise. You did an amazing job - there is a depth and sincerity to the images that must be a combination of your work and the people you were shooting. Taking note: giving away trees at my wedding.
