I know that Haiti has been weighing heavily on all of our hearts and minds.  Luckily there are many, many fine organizations to donate to (I chose to donate to an organization that is already 'on the ground' in Haiti, in the hopes that this would somehow facilitate my donation to do its thing more quickly).

My favorite online shopping spot, etsy, has set up a wonderful shop, Craft Hope for Haiti .  100% of the proceeds go directly to Doctors Without Borders.  Infection is now a huge danger, and even the tiniest injury can be life threatening in the primitive conditions in Haiti right now.
