Rachel and Rob's wedding and reception were held at the charming Hope and Glory Inn up the Northern Neck in Irvington. The Inn looks as if it were designed as a movie set. Lovely, romantic vignettes around every corner.

Rachel and Rob had their ceremony at noon, and a delicious luncheon after, then we had the afternoon for relaxation (and lots of fun photos of the two of them). The day concluded with a dinner dance.

The wedding cake was one my favorites ever. I loved the rustic bureau it was on, the peonies tucked 'round the mirror, the field of hydrangea flowers the cake seemed to float above. Carried Away Cuisine made the cake.

I can't wait to share Ryan and Laura's gorgeous wedding with you! It was truly one of the loveliest I have ever photographed. Until then, a quick peek at the happy couple, with more to come......

Where to start? There were fabulous shoes. Thousands of orchids, the handiwork of Helga Macko. There was a purple boat. A lavender cake. Vera Wang gowns in luscious shades of pink and lilac. Lots of pairs of diamond chandelier earrings (for the bridesmaids to wear) courtesy of Tara's fabulous shop.There was a dog named Milo. An architectural salad. Peonies. A happy and truly charming bridal party. Pearl Taylor coordinated this wonderful wedding. Hotcakes supplied the music. Vania O'Shea of Bridesmaiddid Tara's makeup.
